Joe Horn a soon to be Bill?

Did anyone else hear on sportscenter that Joe Horn wants to be traded to the Bills?

My buddy just told me about it. I checked espn.com and did not see anything about buffalo.

The Saints wrapped up a weekend mini-camp Sunday with no sign of star wide receiver Joe Horn.

he did say he heard it on sportscenter but did not see it on the web.

I gotta go tell my Raiders fan friend.

He's gonna be so pissed off - he's already mad that the Bills have ammassed so much talent as it is.

Sounds like rhetoric to drive up his salary demands in N.O.

I don't seet he connections to Buffalo.

Horn is scheduled to earn a base salary of $2.7 million for 2003, with a roster bonus of $200,000 and an offseason workout bonus of $100,000 for which he almost certainly will not meet the qualifications. In 2004, the final season of his current deal, his base salary is $2.9 million and he is due a $100,000 roster bonus....ESPN

No way TD forks that kind of cash over for a 2nd or 3rd reciever on this team.

Don't get me wrong- I love the concept and Horn is a player.... but it just doesn't seem logical... but then again McGahee doesn't sound logical either.

              Never say Never around TD!

I don't really see it happening even if Horn does want to be traded here. I don't know how high of a draft pick TD would be willing to give up for a player.

I don't think TD is willing to dish out a huge contract for another WR. Why do you think he didn't want to sign Price that bad?

I don't see it posted on anything other Bills message board. You'd think if it was said there would be somebody on these board who would've seen it too.

Remember - HE supposedly wants to be traded here - which means he's probably willing to play for less money in a Bills Uni than in a Saints - I'm sure he knows what TD has done, and his agent has probably made him well aware of the fact that TD WILL NOT overpay for anyone.

Look at his career average over 1,300 yards - if he comes here he might (probably will) knock Moulds down to #2, and give the N.E. secondary the headaches that Moulds gives to the Dolphins secondary.

No way moulds becomes number 2. Moulds is a better receiver than horn, stats or not. Horn would likely be number 2.
