All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Sounds like rhetoric to drive up his salary demands in N.O.
I don't seet he connections to Buffalo.
Horn is scheduled to earn a base salary of $2.7 million for 2003, with a roster bonus of $200,000 and an offseason workout bonus of $100,000 for which he almost certainly will not meet the qualifications. In 2004, the final season of his current deal, his base salary is $2.9 million and he is due a $100,000 roster bonus....ESPN
No way TD forks that kind of cash over for a 2nd or 3rd reciever on this team.
Don't get me wrong- I love the concept and Horn is a player.... but it just doesn't seem logical... but then again McGahee doesn't sound logical either.
I don't really see it happening even if Horn does want to be traded here. I don't know how high of a draft pick TD would be willing to give up for a player.
I don't think TD is willing to dish out a huge contract for another WR. Why do you think he didn't want to sign Price that bad?
I don't see it posted on anything other Bills message board. You'd think if it was said there would be somebody on these board who would've seen it too.
Remember - HE supposedly wants to be traded here - which means he's probably willing to play for less money in a Bills Uni than in a Saints - I'm sure he knows what TD has done, and his agent has probably made him well aware of the fact that TD WILL NOT overpay for anyone.
Look at his career average over 1,300 yards - if he comes here he might (probably will) knock Moulds down to #2, and give the N.E. secondary the headaches that Moulds gives to the Dolphins secondary.
