KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It didn't take long for Kansas City coach Herman Edwards to figure out he was in for some rough stretches when he took the youngest team in the league to New England for the season opener. "You can imagine when we went to New England," Edwards said this week. "I'm looking at them in warm-ups thinking, boy oh boy, this could be a long afternoon. You got all these kids out there and they didn't even know where to line up to stretch. At least now they can stretch together."
