Sources: Missed appointment would result in ban for Pacman

Adam "Pacman" Jones may finally be down to his last chance.

Sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen on Sunday that the Cowboys defensive back must strictly adhere to the terms of his reinstatement and any missteps will lead to a lifetime ban from the NFL.

Commissioner Roger Goodell relied on the recommendations of clinical specialists who oversaw Jones' 30 days in a rehab facility when deciding to reinstate him from his latest suspension.

Jones was suspended for the entire 2007 season because of multiple incidents while with the Tennessee Titans, then was traded to the Cowboys during the offseason and given another chance by Goodell.

Sources tell ESPN that Pacman Jones will receive a lifetime ban for not adhering to the terms of his reinstatement.

If he gets a lifetime ban they might as well just lock him up on the spot because he won't last much longer in real life.

you give them every opportunity and they will find a way to keep messing up...it is only a matter of time.

I'm glad he's down to his last chance, it's very sad though. He's a guy with just as much, if not more talent as anyone in the NFL and he just can't get his mind straight.

No different than the student who got straight As in high school and pisses it all away in college. It's on them.

No doubt about it, there really is no one to blame. Sadly though, we've become a nation that finds is acceptable to blame all of our problems on everyone but the person in the mirror. But until he screws up again I welcome him back on the team with open arms, and the team does as well.

And it may be, but as long as he is performing on the field when eligible to play I could honestly care less what happens to him or anyone else off of the field. I really do hope this is his last chance and that he can get his life on track because he's an amazing talent and is actually a very kind human being to talk to and has a big heart.

Yeah thats why he spits on people starts bar fights and brags about how he can beat the drug testing sytem in the NFL. But yeah i'm sure he is out there helping homeless people and giving lectures to kids about not being....well like him.

Come on gr8 seriously could you lick this guys sack anymore then what you have been doing? If he was an average player say just a special teamer would you put up with this? Would the NFL i doubt the NFL would. But because he has some talent people are more then happy to give him chance after chance. And from what i have heard the only one in the org who is happy to have him back is that enabler J.Jones. Atleast Tank Johnson turned his life around. Going to jail will do that to a person it will humble you some it doesn't but a guy like Tank i'm sure it did. Maybe what A.Jones really needs is a good 6 or 12 months sentence in jail to humble him.

He's said himself that things just change when he gets alcohol in his system. He's human just like everyone else, he has his issues, and apparently alcohol is one of his issues.

Until the law brings down the hammer on him I still don't see any reason why I should. Like I always said before; I could honestly care less what these guys do outside the field as long as they perform while they are on it.
