All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

If Trent wins the next 4 does he completely erase losing the 4 in a row?
Id say, yes.
Just as I wouldnt toss him aside after the first big loss, I also wont call him our savior after this big win. Do it for the next 4 games and I will be along way toward being convinced that we have all we need at QB.
It's this simple: the Bills beat crappy teams, and generally lose to decent or good teams.
Seattle -- crappy
Jacksonville -- not completely crappy, but mediocre
Oakland -- crappy
St. Louis -- crappy
San Diego -- not completely crappy, but mediocre
Kansas City -- crappy
San Francisco is crappy, so that is a winnable game. Everyone else left on the schedule has a winning record. Perhaps they can sneak a win out of there, but, at this point, probably not.
I think we're looking at 8-8 at best. So no, Edwards is not forgiven. He's a mediocre quarterback (at this point), like Losman.

I'd say this is more of a reflection on the HC who generally never wins against winning teams in his coaching career.

I don't think you understood the question. Winning the next 4 games would require beating 3 teams with winning records and put us at worst 10-6. Obviously if we finish 8-8 and don't beat any winning teams then that is not the same scenario.
The reasons we had a chance are:
1. An easy schedule by luck of the draw and
2. Brady's injury.
Those things won't happen next year and we'll be right back in the basement.
Thats fine but fact is, he led us on a number of drives to win games and played well. Without him, we wouldn't have won those easy games. We wouldnt have gone 5-1 with Losman, ill tell you that much.
Wow, so our entire reason for not making the playoffs will be because of guy that is working on completing his first season as our starting QB?
Sorry, but our DEs have combined for an amazing 4 sacks. We had our most dependable WR out for 3 weeks and our running game was almost not existant.
Trent may have lost us some games but I saw him win us some games as well.
I won't blame JP for 7-9 last year and I won't blame Trent for not making the playoffs this year.
Back up a second here.
We were 4-0 when Edwards started playing like ****. If he's even mediocre against Cleveland and Miami, we're 8-3 and still in the hunt for the division title.
Yes, plenty of other players are to blame as well and it's not all on Edwards. But if Edwards didn't disappear for 25% of the season, we could have overcome those other flaws.
