The time is nearing for the Indianapolis Colts to focus on the contract of Peyton Manning.
Says who? Says owner Jim Irsay.
On hand as the team went through a final minicamp practice session at the RCA Dome Sunday afternoon, Irsay said one of the Colts' next priorities is Manning. The team's three-time Pro Bowl quarterback is entering the final year of his contract.
Irsay said that team president Bill Polian and Manning's agent, Tom Condon, agreed to wait until the NFL's veteran free-agency period and the draft passed before "getting serious."
