New York Giants (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=nyg) receiver Plaxico Burress (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2139) suffered an accidental gunshot wound Friday night in a club, according to multiple sources.

Details of the incident weren't immediately available, but according to a source the wound was not considered life-threatening.

Fox Sports.com reported that Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg and spent the night in the hospital.

Certainly we don't have all the facts yet, but I seriously doubt Burress has a concealed carry permit valid in New York City. Very, very few are issued.

We don't have any laws against stupidity. I can't imagine how stupid you have to be to shoot yourself with your own gun. Be glad no one else was hurt and toss him in jail.

Because guns make sissys feel like a tough guy thats why. Me personally i would rather get into a fist fight and get my ass kicked then get shot and dead. And trust me getting shot sucks it really really really hurts i know from experience.
