I Met Thurman Thomas!!!!
I went to the OU OSU Bedlam game last night, and it freakin rocked. My cousin flew down from upstate and we got to show some southerners how to tailgate buffalo bills fan style.
I don't remember parts of it between the shotgun'n beers challenges and the shots till you drop competitions.......
alcohol related memory loss...
But, what I do remember was that Thurman Thomas was getting honored.
During the first quarter I walked down the ramp and went off to the side to call my gf. when I looked through one of the gates, THERE HE WAS IN ALL HIS GLORY!
So I calmly hung up on my gf... (ya I just got an ear full)
and walked over to the gate and said, "Hey! Thomas!"
and he actually walked over to the gate to shake my outstretched hand.
and I told him I'm a HUGE Bills fan, we talked about a playoff run, the fast start to the season, and the Toronto Initiative.
He IS involved. or at least, hes trying to be. He's talked to Kelly about certain funds and backers.
and I asked about Lynch, his opinions. He thinks hes a big time player and that he will be here for a while.
I offered to buy him a beer, but he said he had to go.
He is so polite! and just a real nice guy!!!
