With all six of the Bills wins this season coming against teams with losing records I decided to see how far I had to go back to find a Buffalo victory over a team with a winning record in the second half of the season.
Beating a team with a winning record in the first half of the season doesn’t hold as much water because an opponent may only be 3-2 and could very well finish the season under .500 with 11 games to play.
So the last time the Bills beat a team with a winning record in the second half of the season was almost two years ago. On Dec. 10, 2006 Buffalo went down to the Meadowlands and beat a 7-5 Jets team 31-13.
The only other victory over a team with a winning record since then was when they beat the Ravens in the first half of the 2007 season 19-14. Baltimore had a 4-2 record at the time.
