Ralph Wilson put himself in a tough spot. Fans are sick and tired of no name or journeyman coaches. If Jauron stays or he hires a journeyman then the fans will really turn. Fans are sick of this garbage they call a Bills coaching staff (Bobby April excluded).

I would most prefer a HC who runs the 1 back set on O with zone blocking and the 3-4 D which will allow us to draft 3-4 DE/OLB types as well as another ILB.

But he went to Yale so that means he will get it right eventually. Forget the fact he only has one good season. I get the fact that he may be a nice guy. I can't say if he is or isn't but being a nice guy does not mean you should keep your job as a head coach. Hell my high school and junior high football coaches showed more emotion then this bafoon. One would break clip boards over his knee in practice yes practice. Then we got him a metal one and he forgot it was metal and smash right on his knee. Ended up cracking a bone. Point is all of us feared the guy and he held every player accountable. Even college coaches come out and yell at players when they screw up. I see it all the time. But not Dick he will stand there with his arms folded wondering what he is going to have dinner when he gets home. Hey if he is a nice guy thats great but even nice guys get fired and it's time for him to move on. He will get a job somewhere. Hell if Mike Mularky can get a new job this bafoon certainly can.

Just because the extension has been agreed on, it doesn't mean it was signed. if it were signed, everyone would have known about it by now.

Dick doesn't deserve an extension to wipe my ass, much less coach our favorite NFL team. Granted, he's a very smart and ncie guy, he sucks at coaching an NFL team.

Wilson needs to pony up and pay Bill Cowher what it takes to have complete autonomy over player control. But that is never going to happen. If Dick is fired we will bring in ____________. Who's that you may ask? Exactly.
