Yes I remember when the Sabres were good - back in the '70s. RPM. Sat next to Bobby Orr at a Sabres-Bruins game. Nice guy. Got his autograph and bought him a beer.
Went to my first Bills game in 1964. Bills-Oilers....9 days before my 9th birthday. We beat them something like 48-17, and won the AFL championship that year. Those were the days....

I was in the army at Ft Polk LA. The Bills were doing well not winning super bowls but well. Brett Hull was scoring goals in the crease. LSU sucked though. I was married and had a back that did not have any pain. I enjoyed the weather and i looked forward to football season. Oh those were the days.
