yeah, ironic timing, but alas still gonna be some emotions rumbling across canada (blue jays fans, etc.)

as far as the NFL goes...... i know the deal is already in place for the 8 pack of games, but this could put a hold on any possibility of a move there, that was so heavily rumored around the time of the agreement

I feel bad that I can't help but smile.

I do feel bad for the family, but at the same time, I'm happy.

Strange feeling.

Anybody else wanna try to steal our team?

I'm the same way and I feel ashamed of myself....but a big part of me is smiling right now. This was the same guy that has fought so hard to steal our Buffalo Bills and even took our rival Miami Dolphins game that we all look forward to.

Yup!

Stolen from me. He may pay, but I'm not getting a penny. So yes, the team will be stolen from me.

So unless the team is purchased and kept in Buffalo it will be stolen? You better get a bunch of your closest friends together pronto and pony up a billion. Dude, redirect your hate away from the potential buyer and at RW. And if you feel that strongly then you should never frequent or support any business that comes from another city and moves to Buffalo.

And just because Rogers died doesn't mean that somebody associated with his money can't buy the team.

This is huge, it clears the way for Jimbo's group to step up. The Wilson family has no quick out or easy friend to dump the Bills off too. They better rethink how to play this out and get it into the hands of a competent ownership group, pre-croak.

I personally think RW deserves all the credit for keeping the team in town through good / bad but he is a F-****** for not finding a way to secure his legacy for everything he did. His family cannot starve with this type of coin & to say it's to be sold to the highest bidder means it's a open auction. By leaving it open, he stabs every person that has ever supported the team in the heart. I'll dig the F-er up myself and re-bury him in love canal if the team moves, he can rest for an eternity in filth if that's the case.

I really don't think anything is going to change in the immediate future. I'm sure just because Rogers is gone he has someone else in line to take over for him. That person is probably just as responsible and will go after similar things. That being said, I never thought Buffalo would move to Toronto. Unless I'm in for a huge surprise this Sunday, I was under the impression that people in Toronto could care less and will barely even sell the game out.
