Actually, I consider this team masterful at running a business.

Somehow they do just enough monetarily in the form of free agency, coaching, and the draft to keep our hopes up that next year will be different.

And every year (for the most part), fans come out in droves and pay their good money for a product that is mediocre by design.

And the worth of the organization gets larger, as does its profits.

Its a business after all... a cold, hard business.
