Our defense has been solid. If we had gotten even mediocre quarterback play in those games, we'd be in first place. The offensive coaching staff deserves some of the blame for not getting more out of their inept qb's, but ultimately, you can only do so much when you have nothing to work with at the most important position on the field. (Just check out what the offensive genius Norm Chow has done at UCLA - their offense is atrocious because they have the worst quarterback corps in the country).

Caveat: I think the pre-concussion Edwards was a quality NFL starter. If we had that guy all season, we probably wouldn't be having this discussion right now or waving our pitchforks at the Dick & Co. We'd probably be discussing where we were going to tailgate for our home playoff game.
