Shaun Rogers' nickname is Big Baby, and he admits that he lives up to it.
"Because I'm spoiled," he said. "I'm a big kid. I like to play and have a good time."
Big Baby isn't crying, or waking up in the middle of the night, because the Lions had him on the trading block in the days leading up to last weekend's draft.
If the Lions had gotten the right offer, they probably would have traded Rogers, a third-year defensive tackle. President Matt Millen spoke to at least two teams -- the New York Jets and New England Patriots -- but never got a serious offer.
Millen was hoping for a first-round pick but might have settled for something in the top of the second round, or a package of picks that included a second-rounder.
There have been reports that Rogers wasn't happy about being shopped around after only two seasons with the Lions, but he denies them....
