Billszone Exclusive:
Winner: Niagara Falls must have received a season high in vistors last night.
Loser: In this tough economy is there a job out there harder than being JP Losman’s agent right now?

On to the real Winners and Losers:
San Diego 34 / Oakland 7
Winner: At a time where LT is struggling to hit 100 each week getting Darren Sproles (SD) involved in the offense is a great call. Sproles didn’t add too much to the running game but he caught three for 34 yards and two TD’s.
Loser: JeMarcus Russell (OAK) was an impressive 9 of 13, although of his four incompletions two went to Stephen Cooper, who plays for the Chargers. Russell left the game on crutches in the third and that was the best he looked all game.

Chicago 23 / Jacksonville 10
Winner: Kyle Orton (CHI) looks like he may be a permanent answer to Chicago’s QB carousel. Orton was poised and accurate against a solid Jacksonville defense. If the Bears protect the football in their last three games they could jump the Vikings for the division.
Loser: After watching a good portion of this game Sunday, I don’t think this flop in Jacksonville is David Garrad’s fault. Both Matt Jones (JAX) and Reggie Williams (JAX) are first rounders, and neither seem to get open. Wide Receiver should be a big off-season focus for the Jags and they might want to think about doing it in Free Agency.

Minnesota 20 / Detroit 16
Winner: When Tavaris Jackson (MIN) steps on the field you’re never quite sure what you’re going to get. The young QB has shown flashes of potential and at times has shown to be completely lost. When he filled in for the injured Frerotte on Sunday he played almost perfect. Jackson went 8-10 for 105 yards and drove the team down for the game winning drive in the fourth quarter. Visanthe Shiancoe (MIN) might be busy with the ladies this week. FOX exposed the giant TE on their postgame show.
Detroit: The Lions have three chances at breaking their winless streak, at Indy, home against New Orleans, and at Green Bay. If they plan on winning any of these games coach Rod Marinelli needs to take some chances, kicking nine field goals in their last four games isn’t going to beat anyone. After all, what have you got to lose?
