I have to believe that even if Ralph were committed to winning at one time, he no longer is. His choice of a marketing guy to run our football operations speaks volumes as to his priorities.
For the same reason we are millions below the salary cap, Ralph will never hire a big name coach with previous NFL success. All we can hope for is that the next bargain basement head coach develops into something beyond the Gregg Williams, Mike Mularkeys and Dick Jaurons of the world.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Dick's contract expires after this season. So Ralph's not going to fire him. It's easier just to tough it out for 3 meaningless games then let the contract expire.Comment
