    Miami got good fast for two reasons that can't necessarily be duplicated:

    1. Dallas was too stupid to hold onto Bill Parcells.
    2. Green Bay was too stupid to hold onto Brett Farve.

    Without those events Miami turns in another 4 win season.

    It's because of Pennington, Ricky Williams, and an easy schedule.

      Why? Atlanta is having a great season with a rookie QB and HC. It wouold seem some Bill fans have a real hard time with division rivals being better than us even if they deserve it.

            It's because they got Pennington. As hard as it is to believe...Miami was always a good vet QB away from being a decent team, and eventually a playoff team. But they had Beck last year and Culpepper before that, plus a bunch of other crappy QBs.

              Miami won't look like this next year. The Wild Cat will be non existent in there game plans because other teams will just shut them down.

                What Miami will do now is go out and add players they're missing to compete at the next level. "IF" Miami makes it to the playoffs..and that's a big if, they won't go far. They're winning their soft schedule which is what you expect a decent team on the rise to do. However when it comes to the upper level teams, Miami will have a hard time hanging. It's no disrespect to them, it's just the reality of their situation.

                Give them another off season to draft and work the FA market and they could be much better than they are now. They are where we should be at this point in time, but with some owners the all mighty dollar is the bottom line not the wins and loses.

                    I dont see that happening. Whoever wins this division I dont see makin it past the first round of playoffs. You have the Titans Steelers Ravens Broncos Colts and whoever wins this division and I dont see them beating any of those teams I just metioned.

                      after seeing the way they play I think they could beat anyone. I don't think they could do it consistently though so that is where the luck has to come in...but still I can see that team taking people by suprise for sure.

                          I think getting rid of some aging, big name defensive players - Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas - allowed them to bring in some young blood on D.
                          Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
