I'm encouraged by the D all the way around. I don't know whether its the Price and Ahanatou signings or what but the DL has played very solidly. I think I'd rather see Jenkins play till Wire learns not to get burned.

Special teams gets a C they are great one play then choke on the next.

The offense has done nothing of note. I want to see this high powered offense the Bills are supposed to have.

The defense really stepped it up tonight, that is until the last Detroit drive. Play calling is just bad. They allowed Henry to try 2 plays, then they put Bryson for pass protection. The ST in the first quarter looked great, then the missed FG. All together though, the team lacks cohesion. They are playing sloppy and acting as if this is the first pre-season game of the season.

I read somewhere that one of the coaches excuses for lack of running and offense in general was that they don't gameplan any of the preseason games. I'm hoping that this is a large reason for our futility. Because if the Bills play like they have the last 3 games we don't stand a shot against the Jets.

I beleive that your right CalBillsFan. I remember when the Bills went to the 4 Super Bowls that they rarely won a pre-season game. Fundamentals, cohesion, timing, and talent are main concerns. Winning is not a necessity - it realy means nothing.

Morris did not help himself at all with that fumble. The Bills had the ball twice in the Redzone and ame away with 0 points.

1st string offense was incohesive. Many penalties (although I think the officiating had something to do with that). Henry only played on 3 - 5 plays, got the ball maybe 3x. Moulds sat out, nursing a "minor injury". Bledsoe seemed rushed and Bryson and Huntley ran like crap (most likely because of the rotten play calling). Bledsoe did hook up with price for a nice gain. The ST looked great overall except for a couple small mistakes and the 1st / 2nd string Defense rocked tonight.

right - rocked probably not the right word. They finally played well and progressed.
