Here is what I predict happened with Jauron. I think he DID sign the extension when they were 4-1 and then the fall happened. I think Ralph's people went to him in the past few weeks and told him to either renogotiate the extension to include a buyout clause and/or consultant job within the organization or that the Bills would can him for breach of contract and refuse to pay him, ala Wade, tying up his future earnings for a good period of time.
So, basically I think he signed a renegotiated "extension" this Sunday.
