Larry Quinn, I'm Here to Help - Part 4 - Differential Pricing

Let's face facts. A Friday nite game against the Leafs is worth more than a Tueday nite against Columbus. People whould pay more for the Leaf game and less for the Jackets. The entire schedule should be studied and prices adjusted based on anticipated demand.

It should be done in such a manner that THE NET CHANGE TO THE SEASON TICKET HOLDER IS ZERO.

Do you really think more people are gonna show up to watch Columbus play because the tickets are cheaper ?

Mid-week games like that are always going to have poor attendance because folks won't bring their kids to the game.

If you took $10 off the Columbus game and added $10 to the Leaf game, the Sabres would take in more money total

            I think it's a great idea. But I wouldn't go to either.

They need to move the game times back to 7:30.

They need to go back to Sunday games and get rid of most of the Friday games.

The problem with Sunday games is then they compete with football for part of the season too much.

I hate Sunday games. But I wouldn't go no matter what day it is.

Many is the time that people used to pack up from Rich Stadium and go catch the game at the Aud. It can be done...Fine, play Fridays in Oct, Nov, Dec and then switch to Sundays in Jan, Feb, March.

But then it would interfere with Nascar.

A bunch of us did that back in 1997, after the Bills-Jets game...went and caught my first Sabres game. It was a pretty fun time.
