    No, it's the excuse.

The problem is the head coach, Dick Jauron.

Unlike last year where the injuries just piled up early these have been a little more under the radar but almost as devastating:

The offense took a major hit when we lost Butler and Reed. We struggled to run and Reed really was the go to guy when Evans was blanketed.

The Crowell injury wasn't a factor until DiGorgio went down. Than you add Yobouty, Whitner, Greer and we played with a hodge podge secondary for most of the season. Our DEs were weak to begin with so without Schobel how many sacks did we get this year?

Injuries aren't the problem. Lack of depth is the problem. When an injuries to Josh Reed and Brad Butler are considered a big deal, the team has a serious talent shortage.

All teams have injuries. Real coaches/teams overcome them.

Injuries are no excuse, look at Baltimore, they have something like 18 players on I.R. and are still beating the crap out of teams. Hell, guess who's their starting Safety right now? Jim Leonard, having a damn good year for them too.
