Theres a player named Korry Sperry who plays for Colorodo st. Hes 6-5 and has 6 tds in 9 games this season and hes comming off a injury. He just caught a 50 yd td while jumping over 2 DBs and getting to feet inbounds to close the half. Hes also expeceted to go in the 6th or 7th. Why not?

this team drafts more TE than OL.

WOW!

That is actually true!

The problem isnt that we draft TE's, its the quality of TE we tend to draft... any 6th or 7th rounder is likely more of the same... is that going to be OK for us now?

When you draft a TE early, you oftimes get a Witten, Clarke or Gonzalez. When you wait, you generally get Schouman or Fine (not saying these guys won't develop, but. . . )

Sperrys stats vs other top 5 tight ends in draft

This year

39 catches, 490 yds, 6 tds

Pettigrew

36 catches, 421 yds, 0 tds

Beckum

23 catches, 264 yds, 0 tds

I think Sperry looks like the witten or TG.

Or Lonnie Johnson (was that his name?) Sometimes my theories suck.

Or they're generally sound, but they fail when applied specifically to the Bills.

Jan's and Eb's memories must be failing.

Or else they would have mentioned a guy worse than Gant or Johnson.

Tony Hunter.

Woo hoo!

One small problem with your theory here. Sperry isnt a 6th or 7th round prospect, hes a 4th or 5th Round prospect. He's by no means a sleeper, he is well known by scouts. But he has injury issues.

Well as long as he only has injury issues that are minimal like TE then we should grab him!. JK. Looks solid though but injuries are the concern.
