Jackson just got 159 total yards. Our cat is out of the bag. It's going to be harder to re-sign our RFA.

Agreed. It's to bad we are going to lose the best overall running back on the roster.

trust me, the cat was already out of the bag. Scouts for other teams have been aware of Jackson since at least the Skins game last year.

Tender him at the 1st round compensation level or possibly even the 1st and 3rd level.

That will slow teams down.

No reason for the Bills to lose Jackson this offseason.

In fact, unless he's traded I don't see any possible way he's not in a Bills uniform next year.

I hope our FO isn't stupid enough to let him go.

But they probably are.

All but about 10 of those yards were in the second half.

Jackson is staying

a.) He likes it here, him and Lynch are bros

b.) the Bills like him and will defintiely make a strong effort to retain him...

I think the FO knows the importance of Jackson on this roster. He'll be in a Bills uni for at least a couple more years...

I really dont think theres that much of a reason to worry. How many restricted free agents actually get signed every year? usually not many. Also If i remember correctly the guys 28 so if the bills tender him highly i doubt many teams will want to risk a high pick on an older running back

He deserves to start somewhere.

He deserves to start somewhere.

This is true, but someone is going to have to pay in draft picks to sign him away.
He'll get the high tender offer.

He'll never be a featured back, but he's been a great compliment to Lynch thus far, no doubt.

I'm sorry, but I recall a couple 100 yard rushing performances last season so I do believe that the "cat has been out of the bag" for a bit longer than just this past week. More often than not, Jackson has received good praise from every announcer to do a Bills game for some time now.
