Was he injured?

Yes. He injured his knee during the week and was on the injury report.

'Knee injury'..

I think he pulled something right around the time he started mumbling about the Pro Bowl and his contract..

Yeah he was officially listed on the injury report as having a "loose jaw".

Why was Peters inactive??

Because he had to rest and be fresh for the Pro Bowl.

After all, it's "what you play the game for."

Seems a little conicidental.

I bet he plays this Sunday.

I'd rather see Chambers against the pats... see if he can hold his own again...

I think the Patriots are going to really bring it this weekend. Their playoff chances hinge on this game. I'm hoping that it doesn't look like last years stomp at the Ralph and that we finally mange to kick BB's A$$ but I think they will be up for this game. Hope we are too.

Chambers is a 2nd string guy and will always be a 2nd string guy.

He's not our answer at LT.

At $10 M + a year & partial ownership in the team as Peters desires, neither is he.

His ego got so big he couldn't fit through the tunnel to make it out onto the field.

Fat bastard.

I can't stand Peters' attitude as much as the next guy, but pro bowl LTs aren't that easy to find.
I say get the guy locked up and happy. Or are the days of Trey Teague, Mike Williams, Ross Tucker, Marcus Price, Marques Sullivan, Biiy Conaty, Jon Carman, Kris Farris, etc. all that distant of a memory.

I think people are reading what Peters said the wrong way. You play the game to be the best and making the pro bowl is an indication of success. I think he wants to win a superbowl as much as the next guy.
