A Great Coach Choice: Jim Johnson Eagles Def Coor

A great Defensive Mind. Has been in league long time. I think he deserves a look. I think he'd be perfect. His blitz schemes are nasty. I'm surprised he hasn't left Philly, he's been the coordinator for a long time. What do you guys think?

He is a former Buffalo Bill too!!!

He would have been a coach 5 years ago if he wanted to.

He prob makes more as a coordinator than we'd pay to be head coach. That is SAD

Agreed... The guy is probably in his mid/late 60's already. If he had wanted a head coaching job, that time is long gone.

Not a bad choice but there are other coordinators that I would settle on. Like Rex Ryan from the Ravens or Spagnola from the Giants.
Where else would you rather be than right here right now?

            I'm right, Miyagi is wrong.

JJ is one of the NFL's best, I would think Modrak would know whether or not he hand any interest in being a HC.

I guess him being a former bills player has zero effect.

much like monte kiffin, johnson doesnt want to be a head coach. he is also in his mid to late 60's. him and kiffin could have had HC jobs plenty of times but they both just like the defensive side of the ball. i wouldnt be surprised if when andy reid either gets fired or resigns in a few years (if not this offseason) if johnson doesnt just retire. remember reid gives him free reigns over the D. he does his own thing and doesnt answer to anyone.
