LaFell’s success has not gone unnoticed by the NFL, as LSU fans are no doubt acutely aware. As a junior LaFell is eligible to declare for the 2009 NFL Draft if he desires. Since the close of the regular season LaFell has submitted the evaluation paperwork customary of all high-profile players. The initial feedback is that he could be drafted as early as the first or second round.

Crabtree
Maclin
Heyward-Bey
Harvin

and probably

Britt
Iglesias

are ALL above LaFell. Just my opinion.

Of that group though, you have injuries (Harvin), lack of pro routes (Maclin and Heyward-Bey) and perhaps better in the slot (Iglesias). If he went out, I'd say he'd have a chance to be snagged in the middle to late first ala Bowe.

Not really Maclin is extremely raw and is DHB. Britt has the size and speed scouts drool over but his refinement needs work. LaFell is a done prospect, as he got over his one big negative this year with his hands. Harvin is going to struggle in the NFL imo. Igelsias I like a lot but his lack of potential keeps him behind Maclin, and DHB. Putting Britt as low as you did is criminal. The kid is without question the #2 or #3 WR in this class. Let's just compare the numbers:

Britt-
2008-81 catches, 1252 yards, 6 TD -Ranks 2nd Nationally in Rec YPG.
Career-172 catches, 2924 yards, 16 TD

Maclin-
2008-95 catches, 1221 yardsm 12 TD
Career-175 catches, 2276 yards, 21 TD

DHB-
2008-38 catches, 561 yards, 5 TD
Career-134 catches, 2041 yards, 13 TD

Harvin-
2008-35 catches, 595 yards, 7 TD
Career-128 catches, 880 yards, 13 TD

LaFell-
2008-61 catches, 903 yards, 8 TD
Career-116 catches, 1699 yards, 14 TD

Now the stats don't support your rankings, and their is no question Britt has much better measurables so what are you basing your rankings off of exactly?
