Alright, everyone knows Im on the fence on Jauron

He has had only one winning season as a head coach EVER????

Seriously, compare that with a few other people:

    Bill Cowher:

    Marty Shottenheimer:

    Brian Billick:

    Jim Fassel:

    Andy Reid:

I mean seriously, the stats say hes not even remotely in the same category.

He's not a great coach. The debate is wether the next loser that ralph brings in is worse.
Unless we are getting a proven winner (which will never, ever, happen) than there is no reason to take what's behind number 3.

For the record, I had no idea you were on a fence and I'm sure most other people could care less. And to just announce to the world that you just realized Dick has one winning season, just shows us that you don't know much about our organization and our heralded history of suck.

I honestly did not know that or if I did , I forgot that. The bigger point isnt about Jauron but what a startk contrast any of the rest of the guys would be.

When Ralph pulls his head out of his diaper, he will realize that we need a PROVEN coach and spend what it takes for it. If he wont do that, he might as well keep who we have.

The list is only guys that have been HC's before. Gregg and Mularkey were both newbies when they came here.

All of the PROVEN head coaches have one thing in common. They were once UNPROVEN. You've got to realize that there isn't a single approach to building a winning football team.

And with competent QB play with either of the two QBs we'd be in the thick of the playoff race right now.

Competent QB play and the Bills beat Cleveland, San Fran and NYJ Losman fumble game without a doubt.

Those three games, this team is 10-5 right now.

And then you likely win another game somewhere along the way, like the Miami game for example.

This team this year, with a weak schedule, and getting pounded in the division was competent QB play away from likely a division title.

So, say we have that competent QB play, none of these FIRE JAURON or DICK IS A LOSER threads exist.

All I HAVE to realize is that newbies havent worked in Buffalo in a decade. We have NO reason to believe they will now.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda... we didnt, and the good teams do... at some level coaching comes into that.

I guess we should have kept Williams because Bledsoe should have played better against the Steelers 3rd stringers? Wade should have stayed because the Music City Miracle was unprobable?

I dont want to be trying to eek into the playoffs, only to fail every year.

Maybe we get smart and drastically improve our chances. Maybe we get smart and get a guy who can beat the Patriots... even once.

I dont disagree that Losman blew alot of chances for us, but so did Edwards, and then yes, better QB play would make us better. But thats kinda obvious isnt it?

McNabb? Hell ya. Not to say Im down on Edwards, Im not I think he has a real shot to be good. But if you want better QB play now, your talking about a significant upgrade.

Mularkey was asked back before Dick was hired.

Wade was fired because he wouldn't let go of some of his staff.

                            Apples and oranges man.

Without competent QB play you ain't winning jack in this league no matter who your coach is.

Your the one talking apples and oranges, this thread is about the HC and your talking about QB's.

You will never hear me saying the QB play isnt important. Thats the type of crap that posters who want to stay mediocre say... late rounders are all we need, we just need game managers, blah, blah, blah.

If you want my opinion, I want HUGE changes to drastically change our fortunes. A proven GM, a proven HC, huge talent level upgrades.... thats what Im saying.

But you and I know we wont do any of it. Probably none. Which is why we are so likely to stay right where we are.
