Can we FINALLY dispel the myth that Whitner is a "hard hitter"?

He had one big hit this year- that forced fumble.

He got knocked the **** out trying to make tackles twice- this week and against Jacksonville. The guy's a friggin SAFETY and he absorbs more big hits than he delivers.

    Case closed.

I hate Donte only because he calls out backup players and blames them for losing but yet won't dare criticize the O-line, esp. in goal line situations where most teams are able to move the ball at least 3 yards on 3 carries.

He was prolly the idiot that campaigned for Peters to make the PB.

Why did they even keep him or Simpson?

Sad part is that the hit he had on that guy wasn't even that hard of a hit. I think it was just that his helmet managed to hit the ball which is why it popped out.

I was drinking and could be wrong though but I think that's what happened.

Truly a very sad year for the Buffalo Bills franchise.

                Here's to next year!!

I don't think he's bad enough to cut, but he's certainly not worth the eighth pick and certainly not as good as many posters here think.

As far as Simpson, he sucks and he may not make the roster next year. If he does, it will be just for S/T.

The hit where he went down was because his legs were too far forward. That's like having your feet under a steam roller when it moves forward to flatten you.

Yep. He took the hit instead of delivering it.

I don't hate the guy but he is strictly average. We definitely reached on him.

Well until this team starts signing players of the next caliber. Whitner will always have a job here.
