I don't know if this has been discussed before, but would Jim Kelly make a good OC? He called his own plays on one of the most prolific offenses in NFL history. Would he even be interested in the job and would anyone want him here? He really seems to want to be involved in this team.

I know I am just grasping at straws to try to relive the glory days.

Re: Jim Kelly
Like most great players, Jim is probably not cerebral enough, or a serious enough student of the game, to be even a competent coach. Being great on the field, and being a great teacher/creative play caller, are entirely different things.Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?
