Patriots sign small wonder
Farley gets 1-year deal

ne of the feel-good stories of training camp had a happy beginning yesterday when safety Scott Farley of Williams College signed a one-year contract with the Patriots.
Farley will report for the team's strength and conditioning program May 16, the first day college players are eligible to join their new teams.
''I'm glad it worked out for him because I know how hard he has worked since the football season ended,'' said Williams head coach Dick Farley, Scott's father, who spent many years as the football coach at Tufts University.
Farley received word from Bill Belichick on Monday, the day after minicamp ended.
