View Full Version : IMO: The Pats will aggressively pursue Fred Jackson

I just have this feeling the Pats will do something like they did with Wes Welker and sacrifice the draft pick to us. Fred is perfect for the Pats offense and Faulk is getting old. I hope the Bills give Jackson a high tender or we risk losing him.

This would be just perfect wouldn't it. Jackson going to the Pats and tearing us a new ass every week. He would be perfect for them.

Some say he is actually a ERFA not a RFA.

i wouldn't blame Jackson for going either.......he deserves better than this 2-bit, poor mans' excuse for a franchise, that we call the Bills.

If he is a RFA just give him the highest tender which would require a 1st and 3rd as compensation. I love Jackson, but no one would give that up, and if they did, great for us.

Or just sign him long term. He's the perfect type of role player/back up/depth that playoff and championship teams have.

I keep hearing he is an ERFA so he's ours. He obviously deserves a nice pay raise but the Bills aren't technically obligated to do so. After next year he would become a RFA were we can tender him and receive some nice compensation if done properly and he does leave. But I'm hoping that we make him one of the offseason resigning priorities.

If we aren't going to make any "big splashes" in FA, we might as well keep the guys that don't fall down walking to the line of scrimmage.

He's an ERFA.

He's not going anywhere.

Expect LJ to be playing in NE next year.

Everything I've read has pointed to ERFA.

Who cares if he ends up in NE? It's not like our coaches know how to use him or any of the talent we have anyways. He's just collecting dust just like our other talent.
