Buffalo Bills safety Ko Simpson was arrested early Thursday in his hometown of Rock Hill, S.C., and charged with hindering a police investigation.
The Herald of Rock Hill reported on its website Friday that Simpson was a passenger in a vehicle that had been stopped for speeding through a bar parking lot. Police had been called to the bar to help security with departing bar patrons and to investigate a possible assault.
Police told the paper that Simpson soon began arguing with officers and refused to leave the area, repeatedly saying, "I'm Ko Simpson with the Buffalo Bills. I am worth millions!"
