That would be a solid backup actually.... a lot of teams will go after Fitzpatrick including the Bengals.

I like it because he is a jorneyman and would send the right signal to Trent...not this is your replacement...but this is your back up...

He is getting very good with the short game and he can scramble a bit...

He might like to be here.....as he is assured playing time at some piont of the season.

A leftwich would be breathing down Trents neck to start.

I guess you haven't watched Leftwich play in a while.

He might be breathing down Losman's neck for the deep fry cook at Wendy's.

I like Chase Daniel out of Mizzou in the 5th-6th round. He was nicknamed by his HC and teammates as "The Little General" because of the way he calls plays and takes control over the huddle. In my God honest opinion, Daniel could very well be a 1st day prospect if he had another 2-3 inches on him.

well at least Fitzpatrick is smart

Too bad Fitzpatrick has no skill.

And his Harvard education doesn't translate to NFL smarts, at least when he's on the field.

HE has been mentioned....

I mean if leftwich was here he would have said attitude (Think he should start.) as he was a starter...

Fitspatrick was never a starting qb.

Again why do we have to inject lossmen in yet another thread.

So come on, Chase Daniel! Who likes and who doesn't like this move? Let me hear it.

Fine for third string but you still need a veteran of some sort.

Dude, we got the Buffalo Bomber aka Gibril Hamdan. Doesn't Chase remind you of the Mighty Midget, even just a lil bit?? Not your prototypical QB but has the intangibles and leadership skills that you'd expect in a starter.

Over who?

Well it says he might be fit for the WCO. Since Turd is such an expert in creating HOF qb's, maybe he thinks Fitz would fit this system which is not a WCO btw, but a play not to lose system.
