On December 5, former Giants receiver Mark Ingram was supposed to surrender to authorities for a seven-year, eight month prison term.

He simply didn’t show up.

Nearly a month later, federal agents tracked down Ingram at a hotel room in Flint, Michigan.

Ingram, who played for the Giants and won a Super Bowl in 1991, was given extra time to report so that he could watch his son, Mark Ingram, finish his freshman season at Alabama. Ultimately, the elder Ingram was busted only hours before watching his son play in the Sugar Bowl.

Ingram pleaded guilty in November 2005 to money-laundering charges.

seems like giant receivers who make big plays during the superbowl all go to jail...let's just see if david tyree goes anytime soon.

Wait, something doesn't add up...He pleaded guilty in 2005 and he has been free for over 3 years? Seems like a lot of time to get his affairs in order.

Well you know how it is, celebrates and athletes aren't really people so the law doesn't apply to them.
