http://www.mgoblue.com/uploadedImages/Sports/Football/Articles/2000s/2007-2008/News_Releases/johnson_will-041208_300.jpg
Height-6'5
Weight-286
40-4.83
Pros:
-Leadership
-Heart
-Intelligence
-Versatility
Cons:
-Athleticism
-Size
-Penetration
-Production
Overall:
Will Johnson is your consummate guy who plays with his heart left out on that field every Saturday. He goes hard on every play and has fire to his game. There is no question that Johnson lacks the skills of the elite players at his position, but at the same time, almost nobody else at DT can compete with his effort. Johnson projects as a 4-3 UT, or as a potential 3-4 DE, depending on where he goes. Johnson is an extremely smart player and uses that to his advantage on the field in making the offense pay for getting sloppy. Johnson will never be a huge playmaker on the field, his penetration skills need a lot of work and his production has never been through for the former prep star. But if there is one thing you can't teach its heart and this kid has that.
Stats:
2008-29 Tackles, 3 TFL, 2 Sacks
2007-40 Tackles, 2.5 TFL, .5 Sacks, 1 QBH
2006-7 Tackles, 2.5 TFL, 1 Sack
2005-5 Tackles, .5 TFL, .5 Sacks
Career-81 Tackles, 8.5 TFL, 4 Sacks, 1 QBH
Bowl Games:
2007-2 Tackles, 1 TFL v. Florida
2006-1 Tackle v. USC
2005-No Stats Recorded v. Nebraska
