Height: 6'4
Weight: 252
40: 4.65
Pros:
-Speed
-Motor
-Great Pursuit
-Versatility
Cons:
-Run Support
-Strength
-Inside Move
-Inexperienced
Overall:
Brown is the top hybrid player in the draft. He's a guy who could play either 3-4 OLB or a 4-3 DE. He needs to put on weight to stay in the 4-3 scheme, and in my opinion is a best fit for a 3-4 scheme. Brown has great speed off the edge, is awesome in pursuit, and plays through the whistle on every play. Brown really needs to work on both his play in run support and his inside move. Brown possesses a spin move that is inconsistent but when it works its amazing (like v. Virginia Tech). Brown has started only 22 games in his career so while going back to school wouldn't of been a bad idea nobody is going to blame him for leaving after the year he had.
Stats:
2008-36 Tackles, 21.5 TFL, 13.5 Sacks, 2 PD, 4 FF, 3 QBH
2007-36 Tackles, 11.5 TFL, 6.5 Sacks, 3 PD, 1 FF
2006-27 Tackles, 13.5 TFL, 3 Sacks, 3 QBH, 1 Block
Career-99 Tackles, 46.5 TFL, 23 Sacks, 5 PD, 5 FF, 6 QBH, 1 Block
Bowl Stats:
2008-2 Tackles, 1 TFL, 1 Sack, 1 FF, 1 QBH v. Wisconsin
2007-2 Tackles, .5 Tackles, .5 Sack v. Kentucky
2006-3 Tackles, 1.5 TFl, 1 Sack, 1 QBH v. UCLA
