Easy to see the WR's making some big names for themselves in this game. A guy to watch with DT Jarron Gilbert on the West Side, he's been dominant in practice thus far and is being called a perfect Cover 2 DT. Ill be interested to see Cantwell and Reilley play at QB for their respective teams as they could be good late round pickups as project QB options.

I'm a big fan of Gilbert's - did a great job this year leading the nation in TFL (22 I believe) and from watching a few of his games he just screams a Jason Jones type that can play next to Stroud and take care of business...

Well he is a little raw and will need some time and he did play in an inferior conference but everything so well looks good for the kid. Unfortunately if he keeps playing so well though he could become a 2nd-3rd Round pick.

Are they showing this game on ESPN or anything?

Thanks for linking all the reports. Looks like a decent number of guys we might be interested in.

I've already set the DVR to record this game. It is on a secondary ESPN station like ESPN2 or something similar. It comes on at 2:00 P.M. here in Phoenix, if I remember correctly....

Id love Gilbert in the 3rd, think he will still be there?

A good 'un is the Center Newton. Has done a good job of getting to the second level and has fallen a few times, but overall solid.

I am, Ive got plenty of notes, some beefs with the coaches and playcalling, but plenty of notes. Ill share them later.

Jon Cooper has looked very good at OC also, both OL's for the most part have played excellent ball.

Boone hasn't looked too good

His stock is in a free fall status right now, he needs a really good combine.

no doubt. He was once being talking about as a 1st rounder and these announcers today said 3rd-4th

Notes:
East Players-
WR Deion Butler-Good Vision and Feel...showed good hands
QB Brian Hoyer-Live Arm, and great attitude
QB Chase Daniel-Erratic, and bad performance
QB Hunter Cantwell-Good Arm, but not enough PT
DE Lawrence Sidbury-Looked mostly over matched
RB Tyrell Sutton-Great burst, not afraid to run between the tackles
RB Marlon Lucky-Looked more like he did his Junior year but still too hesitant in waiting for a hole
CB Morgan Trent-Great break on the INT
RB Javarris Williams-By far best RB in the game
LB Michael Tauiliili-Made numerous plays in his own redzone, very impressive
DE Stryker Sulak-High Motor guy, perfect Bills FO DE
OT Augustus Parrish-Good Athleticism
OG Edwin Williams-Good Seal Block
OT Alex Boone-Horrible performance, stock is in serious trouble
WR Aaron Kelly-Under utilized, had at least 5 inches on the guy covering him, I think he got one throw.
DT Myron Pryor-Great penetration

West Roster-
CB Ryan Palmer-Love the aggressiveness
RB Gartrell Johnson-North South Runner with some cutback ability
QB Tom Brandstater-Nice arm and field vision
WR Mike Thomas-Flat out playmaker!
FB Javorski Lane-Undraftable
WR Sammie Stroughter and RB Aaron Brown-Both showed good return abilities
DE Nick Reed-Great speed off the line and showed a very quick spin move when he got held
OC Jon Cooper/OG Fenuki Topou/OT Louis Vasquez/OT Dan Gay IV/OG Travis Bright/OG Ray Fienga-All showed promise in run blocking and pass blocking on a consistent basis.
OT Sebastian Vollmer-Unbeatable today no matter who faced him
WR Jarett Dillard-Love his effort out there, and great leaping ability

That's who stood out to me. I would of like to see a little more throwing out there and I hate the stupid restrictions on no blitzing and no spread formations. Oh well though, fun game to watch.

Stock Up:
RB Javarris Williams
WR Mike Thomas
QB Brian Hoyer
DE Strykar Sulak
RB Gartrell Johnson
RB Aaron Brown
DE Nick Reed
OT Sebastian Vollmer

Stock Down:
QB Chase Daniel
OT Alex Boone

I didn't get to see the whole game, but I taped it so I'll be watching it later.

It just looks as though there's going to be a lot of impressive WR's in this draft, even in the later rounds. Dillard, Butler, Thomas...I think we could use all of these guys. I noticed from reading the play-by-play that Aaron Kelly wasn't thrown to much at all. It's too bad, I liked what I heard from the practice reports.

I wouldn't mind picking up Gartrell Johnson if he's there in the 7th and we've filled most needs. He's impressed me from what I've seen.

I spotted a good TE with a great name - Bear Pascoe of Fresno St.

That was a heck of a catch on the deep post and the draft guys raved all week about his practices in both blocking & catching. I don't know his measurables but he's a real gamer. Looks like he'd run through a wall to win.

OT Jamon Meredith of South Carolina & G Seth Olson of Iowa flashed lots of strength & ability. They could start immediately.

Pascoe had a couple of bad drops in the bowl game, but generally he's a decent pass-catching TE. One guy that was supposedly impressive in the East-West practices was Brian Mandeville, but it doesn't look like (from a quick skim) as though he played much of a part in the offense.

I hardly saw Manderville play at all. Which was a disappointment, I have to wonder if he was hurt or not.

I think I read something somewhere (real specific, I know) saying that he got off the LOS pretty well. Don't know why he wasn't targeted. I only saw the first half or so, and both teams seemed to run the ball a lot in the first half, rather than pass. Who knows.

Second half was a similar concentration on the run which was a change from last years game.

That's too bad, I was really interested in the WR's too, especially Butler and Dillard. Mike Thomas sure showed some playmaking skills. I'd love to get one of those guys late, especially if they don't go WR in the first.

Im really disappointed in not seeing Kelly get more balls, at his size (6'5) he's hard to ignore and he has solid speed (4.55). But he was underutilized at Clemson and in the E-W Shrine game. In the 5th Round he could be a real steal, imo.

Wow, I feel smart. I predicted Jarron Gilbert for us at week 13 and now everyone is screaming his name.

Kelly was another guy that sounded good at the practices, but I didn't see him at all in the game! It's too bad, he sounds like a good guy for us.

Honestly, I think there's a lot of WR's we could grab and plug in to our system. We still need a big possession WR, and we also, imo, need a smaller slot WR to replace Parrish. I'd be fine with any and either...but I'll be really pissed if the Bills go through this whole draft and don't take any WR's, because there are SO MANY that would be good to pick. Britt, Nicks, Tate, Dillard, Thomas, Kelly, Butler, Derrick Williams, etc., and those are just off the top of my head.
