Three years is the true judging point for any draft in these salary-cap days. Three is the magic number now because we can no longer wait five years to decide if a draft is a success as we once did before the salary cap. ( Hey Eb ;) )
Buffalo Bills
2000 SportsLine.com grade: B.......2003 Grade for same class: D
Best pick: Fifth-round pick Sammy Morris has been a contributor at times in his career, although he didn't provide much last season.
Blown pick: The Bills were desperate for a pass-rusher and took Erik Flowers with the 26th pick in the first round. He has proved to be a major bust.
Comment: After looking at this draft, the Bills should get down on their knees and kiss the ground for bringing Tom Donahoe in as general manager.
