What is his story? RFA right?

Wouldn't mind having him back. He was playing very well before being injured.

I think he's under contract for at least '09.

I'd like to see us re-sign Greer (which would leave us 4 decent CBs in Greer, McGee, McKelvin and Corner) and move Youboty to FS. He's a pretty good hitter with some playmaking and coverage skills, so I don't see his move to FS as a major stretch.

Me too but it's not going to happen. They'll go with McGee, McKelvin, Corner and Youboty next year.

Thank you. With that being said I would be ok with losing Greer(even though I do like him) and spending the money on TE or C.

Greer seems like he would be a good fit for the Pats.

Greer is no Asnate Samuel.

I can't believe how this guy is so overreated on this board.

I like the 4 you have mentioned. A good pass rush makes these guys an above average group in 2009.

I want Greer back but I too fail to see why anyone thinks he is unretainable or unsignable. Many here seem to think FA is going to offer him a 20 mil 4 year deal or something.

Greer can be resigned at a reasonable price

Next year is Youboty's last season, so it will be a contract year for him.

and then when he has a good year well let him walk because we'll draft some other loser in the 5th round this year who has "potential"

If the CBA expires, as expected, then Youboty would be a restricted FA after next year when his contract expires, because it will take 6 years instead of 4 to be unrestricted. That means the Bills could tender him and guarantee they keep him another year or get some compensation.

I'd keep Greer and trade McGee

75% of the time, when a team needs a 1st down, they throw at McGee and get it.

I would like to see McKelvin starting this year and I want a healthy Youboty. I'm interested to see what the kid can do actually playing an entire season.

But if you get a pass rush, these kids will look much better on paper.

It would be nice if he could actually stay healthy. He's talented, but..

It's always an omen when discussing a player and always having to say "..when healthy.. "
