Lose to Carolina tonight, and they're tied for the last spot. Pittsburgh wins one game, and the Sabres are back out.
It would be great if the playoffs started today, but they don't. This team has a lot of work to do and has to be a lot more consistent if they're even going to maintain 7th.Comment

It's nice that they are in 7th and would be in the playoffs, but this team isn't winning anything the way they're made up right now. I don't know about most of you, but I'd like to win a championship, not just be happy that they are in 7th place in the conference. Hey, but I guess my standards are a little higher then most.Comment

Well, duh. The point is that 7th place is meaningless with at least 3 teams right on their heels. They have to win tonight and win at least as much as those 3 teams do to be in the playoffs at the end of the season.Originally posted by Dr.LecterComment
