At 6' 2.5" 246, he would seem to be more sized for OLB.

Best pass rush: DE Larry English of Northern Illinois showed explosive ability in blowing past Oklahoma All-American offensive tackle Phil Loadholt.

I got to think he's a likely 3-4 OLB over a 4-3 DE.

How about just a straight up conversion to a 4-3 OLB?

Crowell was 6' 1" 246

I know, I know, why change what he is... but after Curry, I admit that Id almost rather try a conversion on a guy that can pass rush real well.

His tackling isnt the best and going from 4-3 DE concentration on pass rush to a C2 OLB who will need to read the run shed blockers in space and drop back in coverage. Thats a big time project.

Yeah, I know.... Its too bad, there just isnt much outside of Curry on the outside at LB.

Reviewing some film, I like Sintim alot also, he could be a good grab in Round 2.

Really?

Every game I watched of him, he did about nothing and was invisible.

The ones I watched were early on...

Richmond, Connecticut, Duke... then Georgia Tech and Wake Forest

His numbers arent horrible, but they dont seem like they are that great either:

Russ Lande loves Larry English and has us taking him in the first round. I like the kid, but I was somewhat surprised by this pick. I've also seen him listed at 255. Still small-ish, but bigger than 246.

Tweener size LB, with good but not great athleticism playing for a bad program who put up good but not great stats. Unless he blows people away in workouts he's a low 1st-mid 2nd Round pick.
