<HR style="COLOR: #d1d1e1; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #d1d1e1" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->Matt Hasselbeck was on the Herd on ESPN Radio and he was asked who is a QB that you know with a lot of talent but has not made it to be an established NFL QB. Hasselbeck said Gibran Hamdan he said he could be the next Tony Romo if he got a shot!!

What the.....

How does Hasselbeck know?

That said, if he was a Patriot, he would probably make the probowl.

Hamden was a backup in Seattle and they are apparently still good friends.

They should give the guy a shot......i mean, the bills aren't possibly done with the "carousel-of-quarterbacks" just yet.

I will admit, the players seem to take a liking to him.. I atleast want to see him play before we bring in somebody else. Why not? What do we have to lose? If worst comes to worst the Palestinian Pistol and Trent both stink, in that case we draft a QB next year, unless a Drew Brees is on the market.

Whenever I hear this arguement I can't help but think of the Travis Brown discussions back in the day...

He was very average in the preseason. Didn't distinguish himself from Baker imo. And that's the only thing we can really judge him on right?

Interesting, maybe he may get shot who knows

Give Hamdan a shot at starter......throw Trent right the **** outta town......ride J.P. and his useless skills to the next train station......and call it a season.
Done deal.

I dont remeber Brown ever being talked about by anybody other than Bills fans though.

True. Hamdan at least has that on Travis Brown.

I was actually listening to that when he said it, and Hasselbeck was talking about how Gibran was NFL Europe Offensive player of the year, and Hasselbeck seemed to genuinely think he had what it took to win. He had been speaking about guys who had all the physical tools to do the job, but couldnt put it all together (all i was thinking at the time was "ooooo JP"), then he went to this.

I don't know if i'd put alot of stock into anything Hasselbeck has to say.

and i wouldnt put any stock into anything you say, so ipso facto I'd actually put alot of stock into anything Hasselbeck says.

haha just busting on you, but why? what is your reasoning? he knows a hell of a lot about talent than any of us.

for sure he knows talent, but he's not what i would consider an elite q.b. in this league and i would tend to question his thoughts about his opinion of Hamdan. Now i'm not saying that Hasselbeck is necessarliy wrong, but it is only one man's opinion from a washed-up and used q.b......with health issues.
