Spacek, Hecht to return against Canadiens

The Buffalo Sabres are getting twice as healthy for one of their biggest games of the season.

Defenseman Jaroslav Spacek and left wing Jochen Hecht will be back in the lineup Friday night when the Sabres host the Montreal Canadiens in HSBC Arena. Spacek has missed the past two games with a hip injury. Hecht also sat out the last two after getting dizzy following a hit in Phoenix on Saturday.

Their returns coincide with a chance for the team to get closer to the top of the Eastern Conference. The fourth-place Canadiens have 64 points, while the Sabres are in seventh with 59. The New York Rangers (63 points) and Philadelphia Flyers (61) are between Friday's combatants.

The team is getting healthier. I like it.

Oneof the things that made the road trip impressive was that they won despite a very banged up roster.

I have a really good feeling about the upcoming stretch. I think we're in for some real good hockey the next few weeks.

I didn't even notice Hecht was gone.

You could try to say something positive every once in awhile.

Even Op was positive about last night's game!

It's not hard to positive when you win 5-0.

This team is playing it's best hockey at the right time of year...Can they sustain it is the question

                  Positive?

The team is average and going nowhere is positive?

                  And "lighten up Francis".

                  Seriously.

Dude, sorry I snapped...I'm fighting Bronchitis and a little miserable. Hey, I wrote about how good Connolly is, so you've got to be fair.
