The New Orleans Saints are shedding no tears over the loss of backup quarterback Jake Delhomme to the Carolina Panthers. They think his replacement is just as good or better.
Todd Bouman, acquired from Minnesota for a sixth-round draft pick, impressed with his arm strength in the recent minicamp.
"This is what (Bouman) did to my gloves," wide receiver Donte' Stallworth said. "They were brand new when I came out here. Now they have holes in them."
