Schobel's injury is going to bite us bad.

I'm telling you that he needs surgery. Nothing has changed. Not sure how many injections he took to have his little "15 minute workout" but he will not be ready in 2009.

Schobel knows his career is over if he get's surgery. The rehab process is way too long after surgery for him to play in 2009 which means he'll be 34 when he might be able to play at 100%.

This is a joke and I hope the Bills aren't stupid enough to buy in.

He's looking to keep his payday as long as possible. Can't really blame him. We all would do the same.

The Bills would be smart to cut him and Kelsay. Draft and sign another DE thru Free Agency.

I would keep him around for a year as a backup and draft his replacement.. A hobbled Schobel is better then a healthy Kelsay or Denny. However that does not mean we shouldn't find a quicker solution via FA as well.

Why? Does Schobel's injury have sharp teeth and rabies?

Or maybe find a trade partner and get atleast SOME value out of Schobel.. Kelsay should definately be cut though, he is about as useful as tits on a bull.

Schobel is no longer the answer for us at DE, regardless of his injury status. It's time to get a decent DE in free agency, another in the draft, and move on. Let Schobel, Kelsay and Denney battle for backup roles.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

                              GM and Doctor?

Wow Hur you do it all.

I am hoping if we Draft a DE in the first round we can trade him to Washington for a 2 or 3.
