A league source tells us that Penn State defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy already has gotten on the wrong side of defensive line coach Bill Kollar.
Per the source, Kennedy told Kollar that the rookie doesn't need to lose any more weight, since he's already quick enough to play the DT position in the NFL.
It's not a good sign for a team who drafted Kennedy at the 12th overall spot, despite the presence of two 2001 first-rounders at the same position. As we recently reported, the selection of Kennedy has prompted many within the organization to acknowledge privately that Damione Lewis and Ryan Pickett are busts.
Now, it looks like Kennedy could be starting down the same path.
