Fred's been released by Jacksonville, and he might resign, but who knows what will really happen. He's talking like he wants to start somewhere, but that's probably not too realistic, except for a team looking at a RB stop-gap.. like Buffalo!

If Buffalo could get him on a 1 or 2 year deal, he'd provide valuable insurance for that Marshawn nincompoop. And, you could tell him he is the starter going into the season, because the Bills should do the right thing and make Marshawn re-earn a starting role on the team.

for the price hes gonna demand, no. and marshawn will be out max 4 game IMO, so what would we do with him after? decent thought cuz I like Fred, but dont think so on this one.

I don't have a crystal ball or anything, but I think you might be overestimating the potential demand for Fred Taylor.

This only stems from the fact that Buffalo can't really count on Marshawn, even if he's likely to be available for most or all of this upcoming season. There are too many other holes to add a premier RB right now, but Buffalo has to be thinking of what they're going to do here beyond this year.

i see many more teams that could be a more realistic fit for Taylor.

KC (provided they trade LJ), Cincinnati, Seattle and possibly even NE are teams that jump right off the top of my head.

If he's pissed about this - might he go to Indy, a division rival looking for a vet to share the load with the oft-injured Addai?

Funny thing is the Jags used the pick we traded for Rob Johnson on Fred Taylor.

Yeah. Lets spend top RB money on a 3rd stringer.

I don't think any 33 year old running backs are gonna get top money. Shaun Alexander got nothing 2 years after getting the MVP. However, he was more tired than Fred seems to be.

All options have to be on the table for RB right now. At his current rate, marshawn will get arrested sometime around week 12. And that said, all Fred Taylor does is consistently create awesome. I don't know why or how but he does. At this point, if he would want to come to buffalo, I think it's worth it to send a message to Marshawn if nothing else.

Also, having Marshawn and The Freds together would be sweet in Madden.

I'd rather develop Omon. 12th year, 33 year old RBs generally don't have much left. Better we spend our precious cash-to-cap money on more critical needs.

well, OBD agreed with me. Too bad hes a patriot and now we have to deal with him twice a year.
