i love todd heap. he would be great for this offense. if we were able to get a guy like heap and then a guy like coffman fell because of injury stuff.. to say the 3rd.. the position would go from a weakness to one of our strongest.

"reasonable" TE?
With your Gonzo, Davis and Daniels trade scenarios???

and you dont even LIST LJ Smith or Chris Baker, probably the two FA TE's on the market..?

LOL. WTF dude.

we wouldnt give up a 2nd rounder for Gonzo LAST YEAR, and you think we'll do it now that he's a year older?

LJ Smith is my #1 choice.

LJ Smith is my #1 choice.

He's my last resort guy simply because of this ratio. 1:1

He drops as many balls as Robert Royal fumbles after catch. If we don't have a shot at Heap, do what it takes to get Daniels. We need a TE who can contribute now but young enough to grow with Trent and this offense.

Pettigrew is planning on running in the 4.4 range at the combine. If he does that, he probably rises on the boards to where #11 would no longer be considered a reach.

Dont know who voted for Jared Cook, but maybe that persons been reading my threads?

Ok,

ego/off

Seriously, hes a defense stretcher who can add a lot to our pass game and can develop into a decent blocker.

Beckum...when healthy, the guy is a stud

Plenty of guys in the draft who would fit what this offense needs. Coffman, Ingram, Beckum...etc.

We did offer a 2nd last year but Gonzo didnt want to come here. Remember that 3 other teams offered a 3rd and buffalo offered a 2nd?

Whats wrong with the trade senerios. Also, LJ would be the worst choice. Hes basically Robert Royal but with more drops, but he also gets open better. Hes a big risk/reward player. I made this thread before Chris Baker was released.

Even if Todd Heap is not released I would consider trading a Round 2 pick for him.

His stats are in the same range as Shockey who cost the Saints a Round 2 but he comes without the headache.

Jared Cook probably moves into the second round with a combine time of 4.42 in the 40. I'd take him there though.
