Maryland TE Daniel Gronkowski said he spent time talking with the Buffalo Bills, including their tight ends coach. "We had a good talk. I had to write up some plays," Gronkowski said. "I talked to the Bills for a little while and they are definitely interested." He said he is a Bills fan so it would be amazing for him to end up there.

It's cool he's a Bills fan.

He grew up in the Buffalo area.

More a blocker than a receiver, he'd be useful on the roster and be available in the 6th.

His brother Rob will be available in 2010 or 2011 and is competing with Gresham to be the top TE next year.

It's about opening some eyes and Gronkowski did just that yesterday. 3rd in the bench press with 26 reps. 2nd in the broad jump at 10-2. 2nd in the 3 cone drill at 6.92. 2nd in the 20 yard shuttle at 4.26. 2nd in the 60 yard shuttle at 11.72.

So he's not a blazer or big leaper but is quick off the line, showing great hands & strength. Good feet. Made some $$ yesterday.

Former starting QB at Williamsville North. Now he's 6-6 255 and just starting to show what he can do.

Later on Day 2, we like.

It's become clear to me that the Bills don't know how to evaluate talent. They keep aiming for the same "type" of people and end up doing the same things every year. Schouman is a decent blocker, as is Fine. Now they are interested in this guy who is essentially the same like what we have.

There's still a long way to go, and I'm already losing hope of them having a good draft.

As a 7th round pick Id look at Gron because like NT said his workout numbers were surprising. However I dont feel like he is our solution either. I do fear what Mystic fears and that this team is just not good at talent evaluation.
